Join us on February 5 for Winter Walk Day!
Winter Walk Day is a province-wide initiative to get Albertans up and moving during the chilly winter months. Winter Walk Day celebrates our Alberta winter while promoting the year-round health benefits of walking. More than 800 organizations and 100,000 Albertans took part last year!
How to enter the Photo Contest
Head outdoors from February 3-9, take a walk, and share a photo! Enter the draw for your chance to win your choice of a Shift Happens Gift Card, Winter Walking Kit or Classroom Prizes!
Ways to enter the draw
- Instagram - Post a photo or story use the hashtag #WinterWalkDevon2025 and tag @TownofDevon
- Facebook - Post a photo in this Facebook Event
- Email - Send a picture to events@devon.ca
- Devon’s 75th - In your photo submission include “75”. Whether that be walking 7.5km, 7,500 steps in a day, writing 75 in the snow, or walking with 75 people! Be creative and get an extra entry into the draw!
