FireSmart Workshop & Emergency Preparedness + Free BBQ

Join us for a free BBQ lunch from noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by a FireSmart Workshop delivered by Parkland County Firefighter and FireSmart Coordinator Kyle Sherman. Learn how to protect your home from wildfires and what you can do to reduce the risk of wildfire damage to your property.  Following the FireSmart Presentation, Canadian Red Cross will  deliver their 'BeReady' presentation which focuses on individual/family emergency preparedness, preparing for evacuations, sheltering in place, and other considerations to help people to prepare and be ready for the unexpected.
