They were arrested after RCMP executed search warrants at a rural property
Thousands of dollars worth of suspected stolen property have been recovered following an investigation in Ponoka County.
RCMP said police obtained permission to search a place on Morning Meadow Drive last week after receiving a tip. Once there, officers discovered numerous items they believed to be stolen, including a truck, two flatbed trailers, tools, and tool boxes, bicycles, pressure washers, snow blowers, a quad and copper wire.
The total value of everything police found exceeded $100,000 according to a police news release.
A man and a woman, both 25 years old, from Ponoka County, were arrested and charged in connection with the case. Justin Gamble and Jayden Elizabeth Kraft will appear in court on June 21st.
