They're looking for two men believed responsible for a robbery last Saturday
Police are asking the public for help identifying two men suspected of stealing from the Liquor HQ store in Ponoka on June 15th.
In a news release, RCMP said a male armed with a machete entered the business and proceeded to smash the front counter before stealing some liquor from the shelves. A second male holding a large knife stood at the exit.
The pair were able to get away and no one was injured during the incident.
Their images were captured by a surveillance camera and RCMP have released those pictures in the hope someone recognizes the suspects and can provide police with their names.
Suspect 1 is described as:
- Medium complexion;
- approx. 5 feet 9 inches in height;
- Chubby face;
- Wearing a black Nike Air Jordan jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers; carrying a large black bladed, hook tipped machete.
Suspect 2 is described as:
- approx. 5 feet 5 inches in height;
- very thin;
- Wearing a green hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles.
