Considering Running for Ponoka Town Council?

Prospective candidates can now submit their Notice of Intent to Run form with the Town of Ponoka Election Office. Learn more here.

You must file your Notice of Intent to Run form online, by mail or in person at the Town Office on the second floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre (200, 5604 50 Street) before accepting contributions or incurring campaign expenses. 

Once the Election Office receives your completed form, your name will be added to the Register of Candidates, which can be found here.

Please note:

 The next general municipal election will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025.

 Ponoka residents will be able to vote for members of Town Council, which consists of one mayor and six councillors.

 All of these positions are open for election in 2025.
