Parkland RCMP seek public assistance with boat thefts -update

Parkland County, Alta. – Parkland RCMP report that both boats stolen in this case have now been recovered. The investigation into those involved in this theft continues.

On Aug. 18, 2024 at approximately 6:15 a.m., Parkland RCMP responded to a report of a theft of two boats from a fenced business compound in the industrial area of Parkland County.

The following boats were stolen:

• A 2017 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV. (The Malibu)
  • Hull ID: US-MB2S3047B717
  • The trailer's VIN is 59XBB2622HL005375
  • The engine is a Indmar Monsoon Raptor 6.2L 450 HO serial number 202797
  • This boat has a value of $149,800.00; and
     
• A 2024 Axis Core Series A245. (The Axis) 
  • Hull ID: US-AWRC4856I324
  • The trailer's VIN is 59XBB2620RL005327
  • The engine is a Malibu Monsoon M6Di 6.2L with serial number B5733I324
  • This boat has a value of $236,650.00 

Parkland RCMP seek information about the suspects and the suspect vehicles.  The first suspect vehicle is a Red Ford Truck, likely a Ford F-250 or F-350, and the second is a dark coloured Dodge Ram likely a 2500 or 3500 with a canopy on the box.  Police also seek the location of the two boats and trailers.
