Parkland RCMP seek assistance identifying armed robber

Spruce Grove, AB

Parkland RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Retail Revolt, located at 95 McLeod Avenue in Spruce Grove on Sunday June 9, 2024, at approximately 5:00 pm. The male suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, in an older model Chrysler Sebring, with three other occupants, prior to police arrival.  The investigation revealed that the male suspect attempted to break into other businesses in the area, and were successful in entering the Parkland Tai Chi Association where they stole three swords, which was used in the armed robbery of Retail Revolt.  The investigation further revealed that the suspect(s) in the older model green Chrysler Sebring were surveilling the businesses earlier in the afternoon.

The suspect is described as:

• 6’2” tall;
• Male;
• Medium complexion;
• 30’s;
• Skinny;
• Brown hair;
• Wearing aviator sunglasses, dark pants and a dark in coloured hoodie.
