Spruce Grove, AB

Throughout January work continued on the final parts of construction at Heavy Metal Place, including a focused effort by all contractors to complete a major cleaning of the interior of the facility. This clean up is part of preparing the facility for its final commissioning and the start up of alarm and life safety systems in the building.

During the last week of January, members of Spruce Grove City Council and project partners from the Spruce Grove Public Library, Allied Arts Council, and Spruce Grove Minor Hockey, along with some City staff, had a tour through the facility. Tour guests were able to check out all major areas of the facility, ask questions, and get a sense of how the space will look once complete.
