Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit Investigate homicide in Parkland County

Parkland County, AB

Parkland County, Alta. -  On May 14, 2024, Parkland RCMP received a report of deceased person located in a treed area South of Spruce Grove in Parkland County. Parkland RCMP attended the area and located the deceased person. The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes was contacted and took carriage of the investigation.

 RCMP remained on scene investigating until noon today. Police have now vacated the area.

 The deceased has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy is scheduled for May 21, 2024.
