Literary Lounge

The Light House Cowork is hosting a Community Literary Lounge for Alberta Culture Days in September of 2024. We invite you to join us for our first ever Community Literary Lounge! A Community Literary Lounge is an opportunity for you to gather with your community, in a quiet way.

We will be partnering with our local library in Leduc to showcase a few books written by diverse authors with differing perspectives and writing styles. These books will be available for you to sample, and take out from your local library to read on your own. The premise of this meet is to gather in a way that offers you a space to read your book quietly - together. We will be hosting a local musician, who will be performing calming music to accompany the journey you are exploring within your book.

We will be providing comfortable seating, in spaces where you are welcome to sit both together, and apart, depending on what you would prefer. This evening will be accompanied by light snacks and a non-alcoholic mocktail menu for your enjoyment! We encourage you to join us, there is a seat saved for you here!
