Firefighter MD Rooftop Campout

The Rooftop Campout will take place between March 14th – March 17th, 2025 at the Spruce Grove Firehall, where local firefighters will be camping out on the roof of the Fire Station to raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, which supports those affected by muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders. This is a chance for everyone to come together and make a difference.

In addition to the campout itself, we have planned an exciting day of family-friendly activities on March 15th, 2025, including:

● Water Balloon Drop: Bring the kids and let them drop water balloons from the balcony. By donation.

● Raffle Baskets: Enter to win exciting raffle prizes donated by local businesses. Stop by the Firehall to enter the draw.

● A Leprechaun: Will be making an appearance, having done something naughty, which will require community service hours to release him from jail. Photos with him by donation in order to pay his bail.

For the event we will also be having a bottle drive, where people can drop off their bottles at the firehall between 10am-6pm any day between March 14th – March 17th, 2025. There will be a boot drive happening on March 15th & 16th from 9:30am-12pm & 1:30pm-4:30pm at both the Spruce Grove Superstore and Save on Foods. There will be a raffle basket at these locations as well.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 and show our community’s unwavering support for those living with muscular dystrophy.
