Citizens of Distinction and Influencers celebrated at VolunteerFest

This year’s Citizens of Distinction and Influencers were recognized for their unique community contributions at the City’s annual VolunteerFest on Sept. 8.  

 

We believe it is important to celebrate our incredible volunteer community, and the individuals and groups who dedicate their time and effort to making Leduc a thriving, welcoming place to live and visit.  

 

The Citizens of Distinction Awards program recognizes citizens who show exceptional community spirit and dedication to art, culture and heritage, sport, leadership and environmental stewardship. This year, we are pleased to honour:  

 

The Influencers Awards recognize leadership, advocacy and social investment by young leaders aged 17 to 21 in the community. Selected nominees receive a $1,000 bursary to help launch them into the next phase of life. This year, we are pleased to honour:
