[Re]Connect with your neighbours this summer

City invites residents to get together and build community bonds

Leduc's Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) team has launched the Good Neighbour initiative for the 2024 season. Now in its twelfth year, the Good Neighbour program brings back popular events for community members to connect, such as coffee pop-ups and wee free libraries.

FCSS leads the City's Good Neighbour initiative each year, which encourages neighbourly behaviour and community building through a number of events and projects throughout the spring, summer and fall.

Residents are invited to connect with their neighbours and take part in any or all of the following:

"Community connection is the foundation of a thriving municipality," says City of Leduc Mayor Bob Young. "Initiatives like the Good Neighbour program foster a sense of unity and shared responsibility among our residents, which makes our city a vibrant, safe and supportive place to live."

To learn more, residents can follow along on the City's social media, check out the Good Neighbour web page or reach out to FCSS at FCSS@leduc.ca or 780-980-7109.
